About Us

Ellacoldi is a small family business located just outside Tamworth N.S.W. We attend markets throughout Sydney and the New England region of NSW. We sell online throughout Australia and we sell internationally.

We milk our own dairy goats so can provide you with 100% pure milk.

Diane is the soapmaker. She started making soap just over 11 years ago. As her skills and knowledge grew she tried new thing and perfected the art of making goats milk soap and believe me it is an art form.

Anyway all went along quietly until about 4 years ago, when we had an excess of soap. At Christmas time we gave some away as presents to family, friends and workmates. The girls took some to school for teachers and friends. A few weeks later the phone started ringing and people were asking if they could buy some as they really liked it. This led us to discuss what we were going to do. We decided that if we were going to do this, we would do it with a couple of firm commitments to the soaps-

  1. Nothing synthetic would be used. All our ingredients are natural and 100% pure.
  2. All our scented oils are the pure essentials oils and are chosen for two reasons. Firstly they must have a pleasing aroma and secondly they must have a benefit for the skin.
  3. Our main focus would be on helping people with skin conditions (as we have a number of friends in this situation).

We started our business at the beginning of 2008 with six different soaps and as you can see our range has grown. It now includes soaps for specific skin conditions.

We do everything ourselves. We breed the goats. We milk the goats. We make the sop, which is cured for a minimum of six weeks and as we say at Ellacoldi " the older the soap the better the soap"

We also do our own packaging and marketing.

Our aim is to provide the best "natural" goats milk soap in the market place. We believe that we have achieved this. See for yourself.
